International Fundraising Gala Dinner

The Club's Fundraising Dinner on May 21st starting at 6:30pm.

May I ask you all to join the Fundraising Committee in "active sales" for our event.

Don't forget that as well as ticket sales, we are looking for auction items, raffle gifts and advertisement sales in the souvenir programme.

For advertisement sales, please contact Saule (zhonkeba@hotmail.com) or Carlos (c.desmet@shell.com). Rates are from €150 to €400.

Jos will give a short presentation during our meeting next week about the Fundraising Dinner and the Project.

Details of the event

Supporting the 2010/2011 Rotary International theme of "Building Communities - Bridging Continents"

RCTHM is proud to organize an evening filled with international spirit, culinary delights, music and a fashion show that will delight everyone, across all nations.

Proceeds will be donated to Wings of Support (www.wingsofsupport.org). Staff volunteers from KLM/Martinair however the organization works as an independent Charity Foundation. For this event, proceeds will be in aid of a Children's project in Thika, Kenya (Action for Children in Conflict).

This elegant, yet fun-filled evening will include:

  • Chefs from 5 Embassies, representing 5 different regions of the globe, preparing a delicious 5-course dinner with accompanying drinks
  • Keynote Speaker: Rtn. Ben Droste [Founding partner of Space Experience, Curacao ("The emerging trend of Commercial Space Transport")
  • A fashion show by "Fashion Ambassador The Hague 2010" Mr. Michael Barnaart van Bergen (http://www.michaelbarnaartvanbergen.com)
  • Charity raffle
  • Charity auction
  • Live Music
  • Master of Ceremonies - Host: Mr. Paul Brown (Chairman of World Wide Brokers)

This event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Den Haag - Promenade Hotel, Van Stolkweg 1, The Hague (www.crowneplazadenhaag.nl)
Cocktails start at 6:30pm. Dress code is black tie.

Tickets are €80 each and can be purchased from any RCTHM member or by e-mail to event@rcthm.org
Special price for buying a table for 10 persons at €760. Ticket Sales closes May 14th.
