 | July 2009 49th Rose Competition-July 9, 2009 On July 9th, the yearly international rose competition took place for the 49th time at the lovely Westbroekpark in The Hague. By courtesy of the municipality of The Hague RCTHM was also invited to pass judgment on a variety of some 50 rose species. |

 | July 2009 Photos from the Fund Raising Concert for Destitute Children in Romania On June 1st the RCTHM held its annual international fund raiser at the Koninklijke Schouwburg in The Hague. Some 500 guests attended a concert of works by Romanian and Argentine composers, performed by three Romanian musicians living and working in the Netherlands and the Amsterdam Cello Octet. |
| | May 2009 Plaque unveiling for the International Rotarians On Friday the 15thMay 2009 Rotarians of the International Rotary Club The Hague Metropolitan gathered in Westbroekpark again. This time they were not in their gardening outfits but ready for a special ceremony. Wethouder Baldewsingh and representatives of the municipality had invited the Rotary Club to honor them with a plaque for their regular clean ups of the Park. |
