Change Of Command

Following the customary toast, Ehsan presented a review of his Presidential year. He reminded us of his origin President's mission and highlighted the actual achievements in his 2008/2009 RY. He thanked his Board and all other members for their support and the high average attendance that must, he thought, be at least in part due to the excellence of our new venue and thanks went to Jos and his staff for their contribution. In closing Ehsan promised to do his best next year as Chairperson of the Membership Committee, in particular enhancing the number of lady members with those of a particular ilk!

Dev proposed a vote of thanks to Ehsan that was warmly supported.

Ehsan then installed Patricia as our RY2009/2010 President and relinquished the chair to her for the remainder of the meeting.

During her inaugural address, Patricia said she would maintain essentially the same mission as Ehsan and looked forward to all members' support to make her year a great success that contained the special challenge of our participation in the organization of the D1600 2010 Conference. Board and Chairperson roles have been decided and a full Board and Committee Roster will be circulated soonest.
