Visit by District Governor

District Governor Henk Boersma gave a detailed overview of the organisation of Rotary International. He praised our club for our strong international orientation, the quality of our website, our important contribution to the organisation of the District Conference and our track record in fund raising.

In particular he drew attention to the work that Rotary International is doing to combat polio and in this connection reminded us of the highly succesful stamp project that is presently underway. Members are strongly urged to purchase one or more Rotary stamp sheets. Each stamp with a face value of 44 cents will raise 22 cents for the polio project.
