Invitation to Ted Knudson Golf Trophy

Dear Members,

At last Tuesday's meeting, Badri reminded us that it is about time that we once again contested the above trophy which has been languishing at his home for too long!

So this is the plan:
While the trophy will go to the club member with the best result, family members are also more than welcome to participate to make the day more enjoyable and to compete for other prizes.
Participants must have at least a GVB qualification or its equivalent.
After the match we propose drinks and meal together plus prize giving to which all family members are welcome.
If there is sufficient interest, we will also look into the possibility of organizing a clinic.
We are thinking in terms of late August/early September as far as timing is concerned; a definitive date, golf course, etc being fixed asap.

If you are interested, please let us know the following:
Names plus handicaps of those who wish to participate in the golf.
Names of those who would be interested in participating in a clinic.
Ditto those who will join the dinner party.

We look forward to being able to organize an excellent day's golf and fellowship.

PS: For the uninitiated a golf clinic is a group lesson for in this case beginners; it being assumed that experienced golfers will be playing the match. Thus even if you have never had a golf club in your hands but would like to try you are welcome.
