Me, myself and Rotary by John Collins

Davras briefly introduced John, who is a Rotary ambassadorial scholar from RC Galway (district 1160) in Ireland and a member of Rotaract Club Galway. He has studied law and is currently studying in Utrecht for an advanced master in law. Among his hobbies he is a viola player and a singer.
John briefly explained what the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship is and what the Foundation requires a scholar to do during his studies; he then went on to describe more in detail his home area which is situated at the border between Northern Ireland (U.K) and the Republic of Ireland.
He then described his studies and finally finished the presentation by explaining his personal goals.
The Club appreciated this fast-paced and interesting talk and John answered several questions concerning the relations between Ireland and the UK and about the activities of his Rotaract Club which has an amazing 900 (yes you read well.. nine hundred) members.
Carlos thanked the speaker which was offered a copy of the "taste for life" cookbook. A banner exchange was also made.
