Latvian Voices Concert

The Rotary Club The Hague Metropolitan invites you to a fund raising concert, of which the proceeds will be dedicated to a disabled people’s home, Vegi in Kurzeme, Latvia. Vegi is a home for people with serious mental and physical disabilities, where they in all likelyhood will spend the rest of their lives.

The State Social Care Centre “Veģi”

The State Social Care Centre (SSCC) “Veģi” is situated in Abava Rural Territory of Talsi Municipality, approximately 10 km from the town of Sabile in the direction of Kuldīga. The building was built in 1956.

160 children/patients with severe disorders of physical and mental development are currently residing there. 50 residents are wheelchair-dependent.
